The Fur Trade

If it isn't enough that by wearing/selling fur, people are having animals killed so that they can take the fur and skin of another living creature for their own selfish use. The way they are treated in the majority of places that kill and skin the animals, is appalling. Animals bred for fur include dogs, cats, rabbits, mink, ferrets, chinchillas etc...

Alot of fur comes from China, where they are bred, transported in tiny and overcrowed crates, thrown off the back of lorries and then beaten and killed. Some of the animals are skinned alive! The evidence of this was shown on BBC1 recently in a programme about fur trade cruelty.
