1997 - Consort kennels who dealt in beagles and primates, closed.

1998 - Majority of animal tests for cosmetic products  +  ingredients end.

1999 - Hill-Grove Cat Farm closed, 800 cats rehomed.

2000 - Shamrock Farm closed (import+holding primates).

          - Regal rabbits closed (breeder for laboratories).

2001 - Cambridge Uni plans for new lab refused planning.

2002 - Proposed Greyhound track defeated (coventry).

          - 'Focus' DIY stores stop selling pets.

2003 - Ban on fur farming.

2004 - Stopped Cambridge University building a new primate lab.

2005 - Closure of the Newchurch Guinea Pig farm .

          - TKMaxx, Marks + Spencer, Mango, House of Fraser and Debenhams stop selling fur.

2006 - Stopped live animal transport flights resuming.

          - The 'ban' on hunting with dogs (inc. foxes, deer etc).

2007 - Fur shop 'Season's Boutique' closed (Leeds).

      - Veal Crate banned in Europe. (banned in 1990 Uk)

          - Sainsburys + Waitrose stop selling Foie Gras.

       - Brown Thomas Department stores in Dublin stop selling fur.

- Foie gras stopped on market stall.

- Fashion Store stop selling real fur.

- BUAV win court case against Cambridge University for Severe suffering inflicted on primates.


Aims for the Future

- Close Huntingdon Life Sciences, Covance and Wickham.

- Stop the completion of the Oxford Animal Laboratory (if completed, change its use).

- Close the last breeders like B+K Universal.

- End Live Exports of animals for meat trade abroad.

- Get rid of the last 5 animal circuses in the UK.

- End factory farming and battery hen systems.

- Ban real Fur and Foie Gras from being sold. (their production in Uk is banned)

- An end to animals suffering for entertainment - Greyhound Racing, Animal Circuses, Hunting and Shooting Animals.
